The only franchise i have plats or 100% (festival) in. This series is proably my most favorite series this gen.

Meh. Just dont see the thrill in hack n slashers. God of war is fun when im watching a buddy play but give me sam fisher or snake any day of the week.

On topic: I have to disagree with Skyrim. Oblivion sucked more life out of me than any other game. Dark souls is a close second.
That might not be necessarily true. The move to this gen ushered in brand new hardware. It took people quite a while to learn it. Next gen is new hardware but the guts will be similar. Devs have most likely been in the loop for a while and 1st party devs know the cell in and out. Sure, there will be a little learning curve but i doubt as big as it was for this gen.

This game had lots of potential. For me there needed to be a LOT MORE of the cool enemies. the walking boys and those invisible guys. They needed to be your main enemies from the get go. The whole first half of the game was too easy. The last few missions where there were the walkers and eleite guys were the best missions.
